Cauldrons symbolize not only the goddesses but also represent the womb (Because it holds something) and on an altar, it represents earth because it is a working tool. in Witchcraft we use them to make spells and potions. This Cauldron is made from cast iron and then proved.
To prove a Cauldron, you wash it in hot soapy water, then dry thoroughly. You then rub and oil like olive oil or sunflower oil all over it and place it in a hot oven 220oC for 1 hour. Once out and cooled down smudge with a smudging stick incense stick or any smoking tool you have and cleanse. Your cauldron is now ready to use.
